Mike joined the United Way of Central Indiana to lead and manage the Planned Giving program. He is a graduate of Lebanon High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh where he was co-captain of the basketball team his senior year. He recently served as the Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Boone County for 4 years. In this position, he helped clients in a variety of situations work toward achieving their philanthropic goals. His focus is now stewarding current donors and developing strategies to endow their gifts. Mike is very involved in the community, has served on many boards and currently is a member of the Investment Committee of the Community Foundation of Boone County. He was born and raised in Boone County and currently lives in Whitestown with his wife, Kandi. He has 2 sons and 6 grandchildren.
